Imaging with Sequence Generator Pro

Sequence Generator Pro (SGP) is a popular session-automation suite for Windows. Native ASCOM Alpaca support is on the way, so you'll soon be able to point SGP straight at your AlpacaBridge device and let it run the night.

Sequence Generator Pro does not support ASCOM Alpaca yet. An Alpaca-enabled build is in the works. This page will be updated with a full setup guide as soon as it's available.

What to expect​

Once the Alpaca-enabled build of SGP ships, connecting will be straightforward:

  1. Update SGP

    Download and install the Alpaca-enabled build of Sequence Generator Pro for your platform.

  2. Power on your device

    Make sure your AlpacaBridge device is powered on and on the same network.

  3. Connect your equipment

    Point SGP's device choosers at your AlpacaBridge devices over ASCOM Alpaca.

  4. Build and run

    Build your sequence and start imaging.
