Imaging with Astro Photography Tool

Astro Photography Tool (APT) is a popular, affordable Windows imaging suite for DSLR and astro cameras, with session planning and focusing aids. It talks to your AlpacaBridge gear over ASCOM Alpaca.

Setup

1. Install APT

   Download and install Astro Photography Tool for your platform.

2. Power on your device

   Make sure your AlpacaBridge device is powered on and on the same network.

3. Discover your gear

   Use Alpaca discovery in APT's device choosers. Your AlpacaBridge camera, mount, and focuser are found automatically on the network.

4. Connect and image

   Connect your camera in APT's Camera tab and your mount in the Gear tab, then start your imaging plan.
